It is with a heavy heart that I must let you all know here that our Chairman, has unexpectedly lost his mother in suburban Montréal, Canada this month.

I have personally known our Chairman's entire family, including his late mother for several decades. She was an amazing woman, and a significant part of who I am today. Through her, I have learned many lessons and the most important one is to think of life beyond yourself. As she very eloquently quoted Archimedes recently and wrote, "Donnez-moi un point d’appui et je soulèverai le monde", she reminded me that as a scientist, the basic principles of physics also apply to matters of the heart, and of life.

On behalf of our Chairman, our entire Board of Directors, our entire staff, we pledge, through World Youth Served, to continue being the point of support of as many youth as we can, however they need our help and wherever they are.
