THE 2017 EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS DINNER

On behalf of the WYS Finance & Audit Committee, Mr. Larry McDonald Jr. and myself, we express our most sincere gratitude toall who intend to contribute to this cause, as the World Youth Served Learning Assistance Committee is trying to raise $20,000 as soon as possible to support our educational assistance efforts. This year, half of the proceeds will also help with post-Hurricane Matthew disaster relief in Jeremie, HAITI, helping with rebuilding, medicine and food to get our unfortunate haiti youth back to school, healthy and ready to learn!  With Compassion, Commitment and Character, Laura M. About this event

This event / activity will be known as the 2017 EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS DINNER.  In line with the organization's missing and tax-exempt purpose, this fundraising activity will be providing funds for the educational support and mentoring programs for disaffected youth in the greater Atlanta area. as well as supporting youth assistance programs in the impoverished island nation of Haiti. 

Where your donation goes

The provisions of services, both in Atlanta and in Haiti, will be respectively overseen by the WYS Learning Assistance and WYS Haitian Affairs Committees, through official partners of WorldYouth Served.  While the educational assistance services are provided in Atlanta by the Atlanta MathPlus Group (www.atlmathplus.com), the programs in Haiti are carried out by volunteers of Shaping Haiti's Youth, Inc. (www.shapinghaitisyouth.org).  More information is available on these two Official Partners of World Youth Served at www.wys-inc.org/partners.
