Hello and Welcome to World Youth Served!
My name is Jesse Boyd and I am the president of World Youth Served Inc. My
organization aims to create programs that support and assist youth primarily in the
southeast of the United States, but also domestically and abroad. Recently, I have been
asked to help this family that endured quite a bit of strife in their personal lives, and
I’m appealing to you to help me in turning this wrong into a right.
In 2013, three individuals were sentenced to 45 years or more in prison for the
rape, sexual molestation, and prostitution of three young kids starting from ages two to
four. Sometimes we read these stories, and we’re not sure whether we can ever be able
to do something about it. Well, recently a grandmother, who happened to have taken
custody of these three children, approached me. Unfortunately, the youngest boy
became a sexual predator at age ten and is now with the Department of Juvenile
Justice. However, the other two have been doing wonderfully in the past year and a
half, receiving educational assistance through our educational partner, Atlanta
MathPlus, LLC. Unfortunately, the Department of Family and Children Services
(DFCS) has decided to remove the funding that provided educational assistances to
these children. They are fifteen and sixteen years of age, they have dreams and aspirations, and I want to see them graduate from high school.
Please join me in my efforts to raise $10,000 annually to help with the
educational assistance of these young children, so they can earn their high school
degree and have a chance at a wonderful life. They have gone through a lot, far too
much for a young person. It is our responsibility when we hear about these stories, to
be able to assist as much as we can. Considering their physical, mental, and emotional
situation, they are not allowed to physically attend school and they only further their
education through a virtual academy. The services provided by Atlanta MathPlus to
that family are critical for the increase of self-esteem in these kids as well as the
emotional and mental stability in the home.
I sincerely hope, that just like me, this story will shake you enough to your core
that you decide to do something about it. The case relating to these children is well
documented and you can see the article here. I thank you in advance for your support.
We look forward to giving you your tax-deductible receipt, and I hope we can continue
this endeavor with compassion, commitment, and character.
Thank you for your support,
Jesse R. Boyd
